Muxedo is designed to collect nothing about you.
Muxedo connects directly from your device to the servers you choose. The developer of Muxedo has no servers in that path and never receives, sees, or stores your data, credentials, keystrokes, or session content.
Your saved hosts, SSH keys, and passwords are stored in the iOS Keychain on your device, protected by Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode. If you turn on iCloud sync, that data is stored in your own iCloud account, end-to-end encrypted with a key derived from your master password — Apple cannot read it, and neither can we.
Muxedo has no sign-up and no user profile.
Muxedo contains no analytics or advertising SDKs and no third-party tracking. It does not use the Advertising Identifier.
If you use the “fix / explain” feature with a third-party provider (Claude or Gemini), only the terminal output you explicitly choose to send is transmitted from your device to that provider under your own API key, subject to that provider’s privacy policy. Apple’s on-device option sends nothing off the device. Nothing is ever sent unless you tap to send it.
Muxedo is a developer tool and is not directed to children.
